Gideon Klein, a native of Přerov in Moravia, was an exceptionally gifted pianist and composer whose life was cut short at a young age by the Nazi genocide. The film takes us through places connected to his life and features his outstanding music. In his final letter, Gideon asks his loved ones not to forget him. The film thus serves as a remembrance of him and other victims of the Holocaust. The filmmakers also highlight the enduring and growing danger of authoritarian regimes.
