While on a journey across the snow-covered Swiss Alps, 12-year-old Georg must recover in a mountain monastery. There, he finds a weakened Saint Bernard puppy and begins caring for it in secret. A strong bond forms between the boy and the dog, Barry. But when it is threatened, Georg must gather all his courage to protect his four-legged friend.
