Katarína Gramatová vstúpila do filmového sveta najskôr ako strihačka. Už počas štúdia filmového strihu na Univerzite Tomáše Bati v Zlíne sa venovala autorskej tvorbe. To vyvrcholilo jej krátkym režijným debutom, Čerešne, keď získala špeciálnu cenu poroty na filmovom festivale v Zlíne. Absolventské magisterské vzdelanie získala na Vysokej škole múzických umení v Bratislave. V tomto čase dokončila nakrúcanie svojho celovečerného režisérskeho debutu, ktorý vznikol za podpory slovenských a českých audiovizuálnych fondov.

Fifteen-year-old Enrique grows up with his grandmother in a forgotten Slovak village, while his mother works far from home. He spends the summer with friends getting into minor mischief and carrying out tasks his mother assigns him. Gradually, he begins to suspect they are not as innocent as they seem, and as rumors about his mother spread, the image he has of her begins to fall apart.
