UTB HUB: Spotlight VFX

Univerzita Tomáše Bati ve Zlíně is one of only three universities in the Czech Republic that teach visual effects (VFX), and the only one offering a standalone program focused exclusively on VFX without combining it with animation. This uniqueness will be showcased in the presentation of student projects from the VFX studio. The core of the program will consist of so-called “corporate” videos from 2025 and 2026, collectively presenting the work produced within the program. These projects will be complemented by a selection of standout examples from other works, along with brief introductions of their creators. The showcase will thus provide a unique insight into the current state of student VFX production at FMK UTB, and above all, it will open up space for developing collaboration between individual schools as well as across the broader audiovisual field.
