Nové kino: Meet Your Exhibitor

The Nové kino project has long been connecting cinema operators with distributors, and in 2026 it also invites producers, students, and other audiovisual industry professionals into the dialogue. The seminar “Meet Your Exhibitor” will offer presentations, discussions, and a roundtable focused on how cinemas operate—from technology and programming to PR. Representatives of cinemas from both large cities and smaller regions will take part, presenting different approaches to running a cinema under varying conditions. Newly, the seminar will also address the use of AI, sustainability, and engaging young audiences. It will also include an overview of trends in Czech and international film distribution. The seminar will be led by Petr Vítek, founder of the Nové kino project.
