After the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, three girls – Iryna, Sasha, and Masha – find a new home in Estonia. Together with their families, they try to start over, but the past remains with them. Each of them copes differently with the new situation, searching for her place in an unfamiliar environment. While Masha stays closely tied to memories of home, Sasha tries to fit in and move forward. Iryna faces the demands of the school system as well as the language barrier. In everyday situations – at school, on the move, and at home – the difficulty of growing up far from home becomes clear. This intimate documentary avoids dramatic images of war, focusing instead on small moments where uncertainty mixes with hope. It shows how young people gradually build new lives and seek a sense of safety in a world suddenly changed.
