29th Salon of Film Clapperboards

An authors’ exhibition of artistically designed film clapperboards presents original works of art in the format of film slates, created by prominent visual artists and notable personalities. These works are exhibited annually and subsequently auctioned. The proceeds from the auction are distributed through a selection process open to students of Czech and Slovak film schools. The culmination of this process is a public presentation of projects, during which young creators compete for financial support for their projects before an expert jury. The public auction of the clapperboards takes place on Sunday, May 31, at 1:00 PM at the Congress Centre.
