Roosi grew up as the child of activists in an eco-community where every step was meant to save the planet. But when she left this environment, she found herself in a completely different world and began searching for her own path. The film follows her from age eight to eighteen, tracing her change from a sensitive girl into a young woman trying to understand herself. She struggles with outside pressure as well as feelings of guilt and fear about the planet’s future. At the same time, she discovers the joys of growing up, creativity, and the freedom to choose for herself. Should she follow her family’s ideals or allow herself to live her own life? This deep, witty, and provocative documentary captures coming of age in a time of climate crisis and raises questions today’s youth are asking. It offers a personal view of the search for identity, freedom, and hope in a fast-changing world.
