Twelve-year-old Ela excels at complex equations and calculations, but relationships with people are a far greater challenge for her. At the start of the school year, she must cope with her best friend Tadeáš leaving and the feeling of being left alone. In trying to preserve their friendship, she explores different paths and gradually realizes that true closeness rests on trust, respect, and the ability to accept change.
