Lotte Salomons (2000, The Hague) is a Dutch filmmaker and graduate of the Netherlands Film Academy. Her films, including Monsters onder het bed and Sanyi Kakas, have been screened and awarded at international festivals. In her work, she explores human relationships, especially parent-child dynamics, through an intuitive and experimental approach.

In the Hungarian city of Békéscsaba, a rooster escapes from a market one day. It settles in the square and becomes a national hero who unites the townspeople.
