Giovanna is a storyboard artist and animation director who has collaborated with Cartoon Saloon on films such as Song of the Sea, The Breadwinner, Wolfwalkers and My Father's Dragon. She received an Emile Award for her storyboard work on The Breadwinner and an Irish Animation Award for My Father’s Dragon.

Little Éiru dreams of being a warrior, but others underestimate her. When the well dries up, she descends into it and finally gets a chance to prove her courage.
