In the mid-1980s, 14-year-old Gligorije, nicknamed Hajduk, moves from the countryside to Belgrade, where he must make new friends and his place in an unfamiliar environment. He gradually wins people over with his sense of honor and strong values, while experiencing first loves and friendships. Based on a popular novel, the film nostalgically captures coming of age and the spirit of a generation in the 1980s.
