Polina is a filmmaker, artist and activist with Ukrainian, Tatar and Bashqort roots. Born in Kharkiv and now based in Berlin, she studies animation directing at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf. Alongside filmmaking, she focuses on social and educational projects and artistic research on decolonial themes.

In the 1960s, Alfyia parachuted actively and trained as a midwife. One day, her granddaughter calls from Ukraine…
