Country music star Jackson Maine discovers an unknown talented singer named Ally. As they embark on a passionate love affair, Jack invites Ally to perform in the spotlight and catapults her to fame. But when Ally's rocket overshadows his own career, Jack takes his decline increasingly harder to bear, and further confronts his inner demons.
