Passionate about cinema since their very young age, twin brothers Ludovic and Zoran Boukherma joined the Ecole de la Cité du Cinéma founded by Luc Besson in Paris after high school. There, they met Hugo P. Thomas and Marielle Gautier, with whom they made the comedy-drama feature “Willy 1st” in 2016, selected at ACID Cannes and awarded with the Prix d'Ornano-Valenti for best first French Feature. They directed at this occasion actors such as Daniel Vannet, Noémie Lvovsky and Romain Léger.
In 2019, Zoran and Ludovic Boukherma signed “Teddy”, their debut feature co-directed as a duo, starring the very promising French actor Anthony Bajon. This fantasy/werewolf comedy was part of the Official Selection of the 2020 Cannes Film Festival.
The following year, the twin brothers shot their third feature film, “Year Of The Shark”, starring Marina Foïs, Kad Merad, Jean-Pascal Zadi and Christine Gautier. Once again, it's a “genre” movie mixed with comedy, in which a fearsome shark terrorizes the beaches of southwest France...
In 2022, they were approached by Hugo Selignac and Alain Attal to adapt Nicolas Mathieu's novel “And Their Children After Them”. Shooting took place in the summer of 2023 in Lorraine, West France, starring Paul Kircher, Gilles Lellouche, Ludivine Sagnier, Angelina Woreth and Sayyid El Alami, among others.
