Blue Fiddle is a touching drama about Molly (10), who believes that if she learns to play the violin like her father and wins a national competition, she can wake him from a coma. When her father is moved to a rehab center, Molly meets grumpy Malachy – a former violin champion said to have “magic in his hands.” Despite his reluctance, a deep bond grows. Malachy becomes her mentor, and together they set off in search of musical magic that could bring more than just victory. Set in the scenic landscapes of County Donegal, the film blends a heartfelt tale of hope and belief with stunning nature, strong performances, and traditional Irish music. What makes it truly unique is its use of Irish Gaelic, spoken mainly in western Ireland. A poetic story about the power of music, friendship, and family love, it will warm the hearts of audiences of all ages.
