An inspiring story of nine young people representing India at the Street Child Cricket World Cup in Chennai. For the first time, they leave familiar surroundings, explore their country, and meet peers from around the world. The UN estimates over 100 million children globally are connected to street life. Despite facing hardship, they show incredible creativity, strength, and resilience – but often lack real chances to thrive. The second edition of the World Cup united 19 teams from 14 countries across four continents, all sharing one goal: to give a voice to those too often unseen. By using cricket – one of the world’s most beloved sports – the tournament breaks stereotypes, dismantles barriers, and changes perceptions in society, government, and institutions. This uplifting documentary is a tribute to courage, dreams, and the belief that even children without homes deserve a future filled with opportunity.
