Frida is a little girl with big dreams and an even bigger imagination. She grows up in early 20th-century Coyoacán, Mexico, surrounded by color and culture. Curious and joyful, she explores the world around her and learns about her roots from her mother. But when she contracts polio, she’s cut off from school and friends.
