Nina (12) has no idea that a simple homework assignment will launch her on an unexpected journey. When her eccentric neighbor, a former writer, offers to help, Nina begins writing about what she knows best – herself. Writing becomes a way for her to understand her emotions, cope with the loss of her mother, and uncover long-buried family secrets. With humor and sensitivity, we follow her daily life: fights with her magician-obsessed little brother, first crushes, and the inner uncertainty of growing up. Nina transforms it all into a book where reality blends with imagination and every choice can reshape the story. The film mixes live action with animated elements that bring her thoughts and feelings to life on screen. A Hungarian–Dutch co-production, it is the first Hungarian family film to compete at an A-list international festival.
