Vojtěch Strakatý (*1988, Praha) vystudoval režii a scenáristiku na FAMO v Písku. Scénář jeho celovečerního debutu AFTER PARTY získal na MFF Karlovy Vary 2018 cenu Filmové nadace “Hvězda zítřka”. Film byl natočen v roce 2022 a v roce 2024 je uveden ve světové premiéře na 81. Mezinárodním filmovém festivalu v Benátkách (sekce Orizzonti Extra). Jeho druhý celovečerní film NA DRUHÉ STRANĚ LÉTA byl natočen v roce 2023 a v současné době je ve fázi postprodukce.

Young student Jindřiška enjoys her summer until one morning, after a wild party, she wakes to find her home swarming with bailiffs. Her father has run up massive debts, and debt collectors are closing in. In a single moment, Jindřiška’s carefree world turns upside down. Hungover and with her best friend by her side, she faces a tough choice – whether to help her father or save herself while she still can. What unfolds is a story of loyalty, survival, and growing up far sooner than she ever imagined.
