Literature for children and youth as a source for film themes

A presentation of five contemporary Czech books for children and young adults, which could serve as inspiration for film adaptations. The authors will present their books, with the program guided by journalist, literary and film critic Pavel Mandys, co-founder and co-organizer of the annual Magnesia Litera book awards. The selection will be curated to offer ideas for both feature-length live-acted films and animated films, including shorts. Intended for all filmmakers seeking quality and engaging material for children and young adults.
