KATO DE BOECK (1994°)
is a Belgian and Brussels based scriptwriter and director. In 2018 she graduated with a master degree in Film at the RITCS School Of Arts. Her autobiographical short film Provence won over 20 (inter)national prizes, among which Best International Short at Cinekid and Zlin Film Festival, the audience award at Film Fest Gent, the Ensor for Best Short Film, the Grand Prix at Brussels Short Film Festival and Best Debut, Audience Award at Leuven International Short Film Festival.

Bibi and Ama are young queer girls and best friends. Neither really knows what to expect from coming out, relationships, or life in general. However, they are certain that living together in Brussels would be an ideal start. But a new apartment doesn't automatically solve old problems. Even though you can be out and be yourself in it, sometimes you still have to step outside. This intimate and sharply witty Belgian series competed at Canneseries, and stands as a distinctive contribution to European LGBT+ series.
