Graduated from the Department of Documentary Film at the prestigious Prague film school FAMU. From the beginning of her studies she created recognized documentaries (award winning in local festivals), commercials, music videos, tv talk-shows. Between 2000 – 2006 she changed career for a while and worked as an editor-in-chief of weekly magazine Story. One of her biggest tv project is TV series of sixteen stand alone movies Private traps (2008 – 2011). She was a creative producer and she directed three of the movies. (1st Prize of Festival de la fiction TV La Rochelle). She works for Czech Television as a creative producer and a director. She created TV series Innocent Lies for Czech TV (2013 – 2014). In 2018 she made two-part TV movie Methanol based on real Czech criminal affair. In 2021 she completed the ten-part series The Defender + 2021 Případ Roubal
Filip, a driven neurosurgery student, faces an unforeseen twist in his life when he, instead of pursuing a prestigious medical career, becomes a patient himself at 25, diagnosed with cancer. Through his illness, he discovers love and learns to appreciate his family, each member facing their own trials. Despite the sensitive nature of the topic, it is tackled with both humor and empathy, emphasizing the importance of medicine not just for treating cancer, but for navigating life's challenges.
