Barbara Brunner graduated from the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts with a degree in animation in 2008. Since then she has been working in the field of animation, mainly for TV and various clients. Her children's movie "Miles Away" is her directorial debut as an independent filmmaker.
Miles is a little boy whose best friend is a tree. Together they venture on a roadtrip and enjoy a perfect summer day at the funfair.
