Amir was born in 1980, Tehran. He soon found his talent in art and by the time that he was only 13, he had already found a job in radio and won 7 prizes in acting, directing and writing. He made his first vhs short film at 14 and staged his first professional drama performance at 16 and was titled as the youngest director of Iran Performing Arts Center. since then, he has won many national and international awards in theater. His professional filmmaking career started at 2006 with narrative films like "The Necklace and CD" and many documentaries and Tv series. His latest film "Douch" has recently won the UNICEF award and is on the way of festivals...
Ten-year-old Gholamreza, who lives in a village in northern Iran, needs a bicycle to win a bicycle race and pay off his father´s debt. To get money for the new bicycle, he notices a prize for teaching an illiterate person how to read and write, but there aren´t any illiterate people in the village except a 90-year-old bad tempered woman who does not want to learn anything.
