The history of Škoda Auto dates back to 1895, when Václav Laurin and Václav Klement laid the foundations of a proud Czech carmaking tradition. This year is particularly special for the company, as it celebrates the 130th anniversary of its founding. Over the years, Škoda Auto has grown into a strong and internationally successful brand operating worldwide. Its headquarters and main production plant are located in Mladá Boleslav, with two additional production sites in Kvasiny and Vrchlabí.
