Marya Zarif Zarif is a Syrian director and screenwriter, she studied communications and dramatic writing at the INSIS school in Quebec. Kadi is a French director and animator. They co-directed the web series Dounia (2020) and the feature animated film Dounia and the Princess of Aleppo (Dounia et la princesse d 'Alep, 2022).
