An unbeatable team of five teenage friends, the “Peppercorns” detective gang, unites to find out who is behind the kidnapping of a missing oceanographer who has discovered a means of getting rid of plastic waste in the ocean, and who has made some enemies. One shady garbage dealer seems to have no scruples. A race against time begins to save her life and their future.
